Brean Leisure Park Partners with The Salvation Army for Christmas Present Appeal

The season of giving is upon us, and Brean Leisure Park is once again joining hands with The Salvation Army to ensure that every child experiences the joy of unwrapping a present on Christmas Day. In a heart-warming initiative, we are calling on guests and local residents to contribute to the Christmas Present Appeal by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts. The gifts will be distributed in the community, offering a ray of festive light to those who may be facing financial challenges during the holiday season.

Supporting Families in Need

For many families, providing Christmas presents for their children can add significant strain to already stretched budgets. Charities, such as The Salvation Army, play a crucial role in supporting these families, offering help through food banks and various donations. Brean Leisure Park recognises the importance of community support and is proud to stand alongside The Salvation Army in making a difference.

Sarah House, Director of Brean Leisure Park, expresses the park’s commitment to the cause, stating, “We are proud to support The Salvation Army with this appeal and to spread some festive joy. Please help us by donating a gift for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present.”

How Can You Contribute?

Brean Leisure Park is making it easy for everyone to get involved in this heart-warming initiative. Guests and local residents are encouraged to pick up an extra toy and drop it off at Brean Play during the festive season. The park is accepting new, unwrapped toys and gifts until December 12th. The act of giving becomes even more convenient with no car parking charges during the winter months.

Join the Winter Walk

In addition to the gift drive, Brean Leisure Park invites the community to participate in a sponsored winter walk on Monday, December 11th, Brean Splash Waterpark, Brean Leisure Park, Coast Road, Brean, Somerset TA8 2QY . For a donation of £5, participants can enjoy a stroll around the holiday resort, with all proceeds going to The Salvation Army. The walk will take place on hard road surfaces throughout the resort, and furry friends on leads are more than welcome to join.

As the holiday season approaches, Brean Leisure Park is not only a destination for entertainment and relaxation but also a hub of community support. By contributing to The Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal and participating in the winter walk, each person has the power to make a difference in the lives of children and families facing challenges this holiday season. Let’s come together and spread the joy of giving in our community!
