Visitors to Brean and Berrow beaches can enjoy FREE beach parking from 1st July 2026.
The free beach parking scheme is being trialled for 2026, and funded by EDF Energy. The aim is to encourage more day visitors and support local businesses.
The council’s Beach Team will continue to manage and maintain both beaches throughout the trial period.
There are also no parking charges during the winter months, meaning visitors can enjoy free access to the beaches outside the main season as well.
Brean and Berrow beaches are divided into designated zones, including areas where vehicle access is permitted and a separate traffic-free section.
