Somerset & Exmoor Coast Festival

The Somerset and Exmoor Coast Festival is a celebration of our unique and diverse coastline bringing together walking, music, the arts, food and flavours, performance and a host of activities that showcase this coast of surprises.

At its heart is a Walking Festival that includes an 80 miles in eight days challenge to walk the entire coast of Somerset, as well as shorter walks that explore everything from the iron ore railway in the Brendon Hills to coastal castles, the wreck of the Nornen and the opportunity to listen to poems inspired by the Somerset coast, while you walk.

Alongside this there are a host of activities for visitors. These include the Somerset Art Weeks Open Studios, the Disabled Ramblers Quantock Ramble week, and the Brean Country and Western Festival. You’ll find everything from music to cream teas, craft gin to glorious sunsets, and performances to Porlock Bay oysters – all in truly beautiful surroundings.

Events are being added everyday and there’s something for everyone!
